Osvaldo "Ozzy" Ramirez

Introducing Osvaldo Ramirez, aka “Ozzy,” to the inaugural Green Bay Glory men’s team! The Green Bay native and West De Pere grad brings a lifetime of passion and experience for the game to our squad.

Ozzy’s pro soccer journey began in Mexico with Tigres UANL, where he honed his skills before making his jump and first team appearances with Jaguares de Chiapas in Liga MX. He then ventured to prestigious clubs like Pachuca FC, played in Cancun FC in Liga de Expansion MX, and landed in the Canadian Premier League 1st Division with York United.

As a striker who’s been playing since the tender age of 7, Ozzy’s journey has taken him to the heights of professional soccer, including his debut in the 1st division. Now, he’s ready to bring his leadership, discipline, and knack for scoring goals to his hometown team.

Reflecting on his journey, Ozzy shares, “I am very excited to be able to play for my city, and share my pro experience with the team.”

His dedication to guiding others and instilling a pro mentality and discipline in his teammates embodies the spirit of Glory.

Off the field, Ozzy continues to make strides as a soccer trainer and coach, while also cherishing his role as a son, friend, brother, and husband. With a love for soccer that runs deep, Ozzy’s excitement lies in scoring goals in front of his city and seizing the opportunity to represent Green Bay.

For Ozzy, joining the Green Bay Glory is not just about soccer—it’s about bringing the community together and fostering growth. As we embark on this journey together, let’s celebrate the spirit of unity and passion that defines the Green Bay Glory.
