The final Green Bay Glory home match of the 2019 WPSL season pits the Glory against Indy Saints FC. Green Bay traveled to Indiana last weekend and picked up a 2-0 win against the Saints.
The Glory scored both goals in the first half, thanks to McKayla Kertscher and Trudy Quidzinski. Each goal was their first of the season.
Indy Saints started their two-game Wisconsin visit Wednesday night with a 4-0 loss to Milwaukee Torrent at Hart Park. The Saints have not scored a goal June 19 when they lost 6-1 against FC Pride.
Green Bay is well rested and full of life as they get ready for a big match where all three points are needed if the club wants to fight for second place in the Midwest Conference. The Chicago Red Stars Reserves already locked in first place after their impressive undefeated season.
Tonight marks the final home game of the season and while the weather looks to be rainy, Glory owner Kerry Geocaris said she expects âa full houseâ of fans for the final WPSL match.
