The Green Bay Glory return to Aldo Santaga Stadium Saturday night for a match against Chicago City in the WPSL at 6:00 pm.
After an impressive showing in their 2-1 loss to Milwaukee Torrent last week, the Glory have a lot to be excited about this week. Over 600 fans attended the home opener and while the weather has been a bit damp in Green Bay, a large turnout is still expected.
Chicago City will play their first WPSL match of the 2019 season tonight. Not much is known of their squad outside of having several players with ties to Wisconsin universities for their collegiate play.
After finishing fourth in their conference last season, Chicago City is looking forward to getting their season started on a positive note.
Fans attending the match should arrive early as there will be a tailgate party starting at 5:00 pm thanks to members of the âThe Glory Poundâ and seating in the stands is at a first come first serve basis. Lawn chairs are allowed for those who want to sit on the side of the stands on the concrete.
All five home WPSL games during the Glory 2019 season will take place at UW-Green Bay at Aldo Santaga Stadium and will be streamed live on the Glory Facebook page, thanks to Public House Media.
